Suite à la disparition mystérieuse de son frère, Miss Windowill embauche le détective Antoine Badden. un nouvel arrivé dans la ville de Hampletown. Très vite tout semble impliquer la compagnie maritime Bluehope, qui organise une regate unique entre les nombreux armateurs de la petite colonie britannique. Celui qui remportera la « régate du siècle », deviendra le nouveau propriétaire de la Bluehope Company. Miss Windowill, est inscrite à la course et la dispartition de son frère, le dessinateur de la voilure de leur bateau, compromet leur chance de remporter la course, et de sauver l’entreprise familiale qu’elle tient désormais seule à bout de bras.
Following the mysterious disappearance of her brother, Miss Windowill hires Detective Antoine Badden, a newcomer to Hampletown.
